May 2022
On Wednesday 27th April, the Puppers group: Lorie, Emily, Alana and I (Millie), went Beech Ley Stables RDA part of the National Riding for the Disabled Association. We travelled with four children from the hub to the lovely stables. First we got fitted for helmets and we got weighed, just to make sure we matched to a suitable horse. After being split into two groups we took it in turns to ride the friendly mammals while the other group strolled around on a tour exploring the luscious fields and well-kept stables. Riding these ponies was so much fun!
They were named Jezz, Izzy and George.
Working with the children from the hub was a great experience and we all thoroughly enjoyed our time together. The staff were so kind as well.
What a fantastic first trip there!
Until next time,
Millie.
