Our Work Internationally

British Council – Ukraine Partnership

International Visitors

Shanghai, China 2025

We have been connecting with the China Welfare Institute Children’s Palace in Shanghai. We had a visit from 10 children and their teachers who were visiting to celebrate the connection that Shanghai and Liverpool share. The children came to our school where we participated in a musical exchange sharing between our two schools. Our new friends from Shanghai were preparing for a concert with the Liverpool Philharmonic so they performed pieces of music and art including Erho, accordion, dance, calligraphy and paper cutting. Our Y5 orchestra, strings club and choir performed in return for our new friends and then we exchanged gifts that our craft club had prepared. It is wonderful to share music and culture with our new friends!

Skiing In Italy

Bormio January 2025

All Saints will once again be hitting the slopes of Italy with the Liverpool Ski Association. We will travel to Bormio on the 19th of January and have six days of skiing the the fantastic Scuola Sci Contea di Bormio, pupils will ski two hours every morning and two hours in every afternoon. In the evenings pupils will have a range of other activities to take part in such as games night, quiz, movie, board games and the very popular karaoke. Parents can keep up to date with our ski group using the Skiing Seesaw page.

Turing Scheme – Seville

This year, we were successful in securing funding through the Turing Scheme to take 30 pupils and 6
staff members on a trip to Seville. The goal of this project is to expand our children’s global
perspectives and build meaningful connections with their peers at Colegio Internacional de Sevilla –
San Francisco de Paula (SFP).
The partnership between All Saints Catholic Primary School and SFP goes beyond this visit, including
future exchanges, online collaborations, and staff interactions. Despite differences in school types
and backgrounds, we aim to show that children worldwide share common potential and can achieve
great things together.
The trip will provide many of our pupils with their first opportunity to travel abroad, including a
cultural tour of Seville, offering valuable opportunities for personal growth by exposing students to
new cultures, languages, and experiences. One of the key goals is to explore the cleanliness of Seville

compared to Anfield and consider ways to improve cleanliness in our local area. Through this trip,
students will develop essential skills such as adaptability and cultural awareness, which are crucial
for future success. It will also inspire them to set ambitious goals and explore diverse opportunities,
enriching their lives and benefiting the broader school community in the long term.
