Hello and welcome to 2M’s class page! We hope it gives you an insight into the children’s learning this year.
Our class teacher is Mrs Macleod and our learning will be supported by Mrs Welsh and Mrs Carberry. We look forward to working with you to make sure your child has a happy and productive year and achieves their full potential!

Reading – Children are encouraged to read at home every night in order to become fluent, confident readers. As well as listening to your child read, ask lots of questions to ensure they understand the text.Thank you for your continued support with this.
Spellings – given out every Monday to practise at home each night. The children also have a copy in school which they practise each morning! The weekly spelling test is on Friday.
Maths – There are lots of things to practise at home which will help your child in school:
We have P.E each Monday afternoon. Children should have their full school PE kits with them every Monday! It is a good idea to leave the P.E kit in school each half term.
